Career Coaching

When people seek to engage in career coaching – whether voluntarily or involuntarily, they are engaging in a process of redefining their identity and then matching that identity to a career that fits. Joyce Richman and Associates, Ltd. serves as a trail guide on this career journey. In general, career counseling includes three integrated components:

  1. Using instruments and assessments to identify personality characteristics and possible career direction.
  2. Interpretation of the results of the instruments and discussion of professional or occupational options.
  3. Goal setting and supportive guidance to achieve the goals set.

Throughout the career coaching process, a philosophy of life-long learning and self-development is employed with an eye toward always looking to match one’s current skills and abilities with the right work environment.
